This website is a membership site for people with a need to earn an income with easy to follow training videos.

I already have over 100 videos and in time there will be a massive amount of training content and advice for you to use in your online journey.

A few Things…

These videos are all recorded using one of the hosting companies I highly respect and use them for almost all my South African hosting needs. I will be creating alternate videos for the other hosting companies I do refer, and they will appear at the bottom of this page in the blog section. See the links to get this hosting in a section below.

And then, This entire training section is FREE for a couple of really good reasons. Domains, Hosting & Cpanel Training Explained.

Firstly choosing your niche or which style of business you are going to start online is by FAR the most important thing you need to do first.

But once you have chosen your niche, you have the boring task of buying your domain, choosing your hosting and setting up WordPress.

Now, most of the time this is something you only ever need to do once.

And it is very important that you do it right. Choosing who your domain registrar is going to be is quite important, choosing your hosting provider is MASSIVELY important, and finally how well you set up the initial aspects and structures of your WordPress site is pretty important too.

For example, a slow loading website is very heavily affected by the quality of your hosting or using “Admin” as your username when you install WordPress is an error that you can never fix without deleting your site.

What is a domain – A simple explanation

I cover what a domain is and explain everything that you need to know what this section relating to domains is all about.

This is clearly for a person who has no experience online and I try my best to make a simple thing clear, but I suspect that I will confuse you even more than you were when you started.

If you look, you can see that I cover variations of how to choose and name your domain for a full 5 minutes.

You need not listen to everything once you get the concept.

IE a domain is a web address that is registered to you through a domain registrar and is renewable annually.

A domain can be registered at the same place you get your hosting, or you could separate your domain registration and your hosting.

How to register your domain in South Africa

The hosting company that I use in this video can also be used for international domain names and addresses, and can also get international hosting.

Hosting Explained Video three

Hosting is the company that keeps the files that make up your website, and they are the ones that allow your website to be seen online.

IE they have a server (hard drive) that has your website folder on it, and they then allow the folder or site to be seen by the public.

It is very important that you get the best hosting possible, as things like site loading speed drastically affect how well you rank online.

Plus there is the security aspect, as a good hosting company will have a lot of security systems in place to protect your website. In fact, some “bad-hosting” companies are actually the ones hacking your website.

Most cPanels are the same or very similar and therefore this video will suffice as a good walkthrough for the basics of what you need to know about your cPanel overview.

CPanel – File Manager – Video Number Seven

The file manager section of your cPanel is where you will most likely spend your time – IF you ever need to go into your cPanel.

This video covers the basics that you need to know in connection with those files that make up your website on the cPanel that is on your hosting company.

Go see – this sort of thing should be something you are familiar with, and therefore not scared of using when you need to do so.

CPanel – Setting up your Emails – Video number eight

Setting up your emails can be a very simple process. In fact, how many you set up is more important to how you run your business than setting up a ton of emails that sit there doing nothing. (I am quite good at adding too many email addresses and never using them)

This video is really just an introduction to subdomains, and in time I will no doubt make a lot more on the subject.

Some methods of making money online actually need subdomains, and lately, Google is clumping the SEO of all your subdomains together with the core domain and giving good rankings for that effort.
